Also know as “Beautiful Eyebrow” this style is a subset of Hong Gia designed for women. Women have power in their hips instead of in the shoulders as men do. They have differences in blood chemistry, energy flows, and breathing that can be turned into advantages, as well. While the style appears passive and gentle as compared to Hong-Gia, the power that can be generated even by the smallest and weakest women can overcome most men. It has been demonstrated that a women training only for several months in Nga Mi can defeat men with up to several years training in other styles. The forms are quite beautiful and provide relaxation and other health benefits for those practicing them, men or women. Men can learn and apply these techniques effectively; however they will rarely obtain the same skill levels and benefits that the women do.
